Log in (it's free and takes a moment), then open Create Free Birthday Link and work through four short steps. First choose a Love, Friend, or Family template and a soundtrack. Next add a headline, then upload three photos and write the message that belongs with each photo. Enter the birthday person's name, email, and a custom route such as elena — your own name and email come from your account. Preview the page, then publish. No payment is required for the free version.

Building, previewing, publishing, viewing, music, templates, link sharing, single-photo sharing, and collage sharing are free. Premium costs $1 and adds the interactive gift journey plus a creator-only video download. Named public demo celebrations show Premium.

It is one payment for one celebration, not a subscription. Premium starts with a gift to unwrap, three candles to tap, and a cake to cut before the birthday page appears. It also unlocks the full celebration video for the logged-in creator. Guests never see the video control. The creator can download it until the 24-hour expiry; payment does not extend the page.

Every celebration stays available for 24 hours from the moment you submit it. Premium lets the creator download the video during that same period and does not extend hosting. Collage sharing is free everywhere.

Yes. Anyone with the link can add a name, a short message, and an emoji. The person who just wrote the wish sees it immediately. Other visitors see new wishes after they reload the page. Wishes are part of that celebration only. They are not posted on a public feed.

There are three animated styles. Love uses warm color and floating accents for a partner. Friend is brighter, with confetti and playful motion. Family is slower and softer for parents, siblings, or a group at home. Each style uses the same three-photo layout so you can switch templates without rewriting the whole page. Open /templates to preview each one with sample photos.

Yes, creating a celebration requires a free account — guests viewing your link never need one. Logging in gives you a dashboard where you can see every celebration you've made, pause one (it stays live but is hidden from visitors until you resume it), or delete one, all from any device. It also means a paid video download stays tied to your account instead of just one browser.

Yes. The last step of the wizard shows the same animated page guests will see, including photos, captions, and music. You can go back to change a photo, a message, the template, or the route. Nothing is public until you press submit.

Use JPEG, PNG, or WebP. You must add exactly three photos. Large files are resized in the browser before upload so the page stays fast on a phone. Each photo is checked for explicit content and rejected if it fails that check. Choose clear pictures of people or moments you have permission to share.

You can choose one of five included tracks: a classic birthday loop, an upbeat party mix, a short joyful cue, an anthem-style cue, and a gentle piano version. Preview them on the music page or inside the wizard. Guests can mute the soundtrack on the live page. We do not let you upload your own audio file.

After publishing you get a link such as www.wishhappybdayto.me/yourname. Copy it into WhatsApp, iMessage, email, or a story. Link sharing, single-photo cards, and collage sharing are free. Premium includes the creator-only video download; standard celebrations can be upgraded later without changing the link. Guests do not see the video option, except on the named public demos. Do not post the link or an export publicly if the photos are meant only for close friends.

Not from the public link — there's no edit option. If you catch a typo or the wrong photo, delete it from your dashboard and create a new celebration with a new route. The old content and photos remain in an unpublished draft for future birthday reminders.

The uploader blocks images that look explicit and files that are not images. A busy screenshot, a very dark photo, or a picture with large text can sometimes fail the check. Try a clearer original photo. If a safe family picture is rejected, write to us with a description of the image. Do not email the file unless we ask.

Premium includes the video option. Log in as the creator to upgrade for $1 without changing the link. After payment, you can download the video from any device while the celebration is live. The named public demos are free examples. The server generates a short vertical recap with the gift journey, name, three photos, messages, and chosen soundtrack. Keep the tab open until it finishes.

No. Individual celebration links are marked so search engines should not index them, and they are not added to the sitemap. The public site pages, such as templates, guides, and this FAQ, are the ones written for search.
