How to Download and Share Your Birthday Celebration Video
Keep the birthday memories as an MP4 video. Learn who can download, how to save the prepared file, and how Story and Reel sharing work.
To download a customer WishHappyBday celebration as an MP4 video, sign in as its creator and use the video option while the celebration is live. Your celebration needs the required video entitlement, such as Premium Standard or paid Birthday Story. Prepare the file, then use Save to keep it on your device.
Which birthday celebrations include video downloads?
The free Standard customer page includes photos, messages, music and link sharing. It does not include a customer video download by default. Premium Standard adds the entitled creator MP4 option. Paid Birthday Story includes creator MP4 and PDF keepsakes. Standard Premium does not include the Story PDF.
Check the current offer in the builder or on the pricing page; prices and access terms shown there are the current ones. Customer downloads require the logged-in owner while the page is live. A guest can watch the live celebration and leave wishes where available, but having the link does not grant customer video or PDF access.
How to download the birthday video as an MP4
- Sign in with the account that created the celebration.
- Open the live celebration from your dashboard.
- Select Video or the download option available for your entitled celebration.
- Keep the page open while the file is prepared. The initial preparation period may show an indeterminate wait.
- When the file is ready, use Save or the prepared-file download link. If an automatic download is blocked, use that visible link yourself.
- Open the saved MP4 on your device before sharing it. Check the photos, messages and sound.
Keep your originals separately. If preparation fails, use the available retry control; the finished file is the part you need to save, not the browser page itself.
Save a birthday video for a Story, Post or Reel
The celebration's sharing tools can offer Instagram and Facebook formats such as Story, Post and Reel. Choose the destination and format shown in the sharing panel. Reel uses a real entitled video export; a collage image is a different file. Once preparation finishes, save the file or use the supported device share flow, then complete posting in the destination app.
For WhatsApp, attach the saved MP4 in the intended chat and include the live celebration link if you want friends to leave wishes. Use the WhatsApp birthday sharing guide for chat and Status steps. Video files can be forwarded, so choose the audience before you share personal photos.
When should I save the birthday video?
A customer celebration stays live for 24 hours after it opens. Leave the opening time blank to start when you publish, or set a scheduled opening time in the builder. Opening the link later does not restart the window. Check the opening time carefully. Scheduling uses your creator country's local time and a matching browser time zone where applicable. The opening time cannot be changed afterward.
Download entitled customer files during the live window. Pausing or buying a keepsake does not extend expiry. A saved MP4 or Story PDF can remain on your device after the page expires; an expired live link cannot replace a file you forgot to download.
Can I try the download without making a celebration?
Matt's Premium demo offers a public MP4 example. Elena's Birthday Story demo offers public MP4 and PDF examples. Mike's free Standard demo does not offer a video. These fictional showcases are permanent demo exceptions; their public download access is different from customer owner access.
Why is the video download unavailable?
Check that you are signed in as the creator, the customer celebration is still live and the required entitlement is present. Guest access to the page does not unlock creator files. If your browser prevents automatic saving, use the prepared-file Save link. If the page has expired, look for a file you already saved and use the contact page for any unresolved account or export issue.
